Eco-Friendly Printing Initiatives

At Mines Press, many of our products are printed with eco-friendly water-based and soy-based inks that bring out bright, long-lasting colors while keeping our environmental footprint low. Much of our paper comes from responsible suppliers certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This means the forests where our paper comes from are looked after with care, helping wildlife, supporting local communities and workers, and keeping things sustainable. FSC-certified forests meet strict environmental, social, and economic standards, showing our commitment to protecting the planet. 

In addition, we’ve teamed up with Centrica Business Solutions to install an impressive 1.3 megawatts of solar panels atop of our 108,000-square-foot facility, all part of a Community Solar project. The solar energy harnessed from these panels powers on-site batteries, providing a reliable source of clean, renewable energy during peak demand times. Moreover, the batteries are designed to feed excess clean energy back into the local grid, creating a positive ripple effect that benefits the surrounding community.
